Lunch and Learn Event - "Water Smart Gardening"

Betty Sanders- Public Speaker, Garden Designer, Author
Red Fox Bar & Grille Restaurant -Time: 10:30am

Betty Sanders has just finished her tenure as president of the Massachusetts Federation of Garden Clubs. She is a lifetime master gardener with the Massachusetts Gardeners Association and a nationally accredited flower show judge. Having studied gardening from the Arnold Arboretum, the NY Botanical Garden and the NE Wildflower Society, Betty is an expert speaker who will entertain us as well as inform.

While New England averages forty inches of rain annually, it doesn’t always come when needed. Whether your problem is too much water in the wrong place or getting the most from what water falls during a dry summer, good gardening technique, a little planning and some new takes on old wisdom can make you a water-smart gardener.
