Installation of New Officers

Celebrating 35 years of community service

Wentworth Resort - Jackson, NH

The Wentworth Resort was the location for our Annual June Luncheon and a beautiful day in Jackson, NH, it was!

 

Celebrating our 35th anniversary as a club, we were honored to have NHFGC President, Joyce Kimball and District 2 Director, Ginny Urdi in attendance.

 

Outgoing President, Annie Ficke presided over her last official meeting.  After an outstanding luncheon, Joyce Kimball installed our new Officers:  Gini Cornila - President, Susan Stevens - Vice President, Virginia Kanzler - Treasurer, Anne Chase - Secretary.  Since new VP Susan was unable to attend, her husband, Ed, stood in for her (he evened donned a hat for the occasion).  The installation ceremony was beautifully done with a presentation of keys to symbolize the new duties of the officers.

 

We were also honored to have Meghan Simone attend and take a “35th Anniversary” photo of everyone to commemorate the occasion.  Meghan did this in honor of her grandmother, Rebecca Swisher, a long time MGC member who passed away last year.

 

New President Gini closed the meeting with a wonderful tribute to Annie with grateful appreciation of her past two years of leadership, guidance and dedication to the club.
