December 2017 - Holiday Boutique
This year's theme: "Holiday Creations"

Ways and Means Chair, Kathy Koziell along with Past President, Debbie Bryant and Vice President, Deb Holmes did an incredible job of organizing workshop on the 4th and the setup on Friday, the 8th and, of course, the sale on the 9th.

FINALLY ... It is December 9th and the big day is here!

We had a cold week leading up to the sale and the morning of the 9th was cold but sunny with snow expected later that day! Once again, our dedicated shoppers lined up early before the doors were to open at 9:30 am. The line stretched all the way out to the street and down the sidewalk. The savvy shoppers came VERY early to be the first ones in the door! Kathy Kozeill made sure that the members were at their post and ready to assist our anxious shoppers.

We opened the doors and the crowd rushed in. Our new venue in the newly built North Conway Community Center made for a spacious layout which provided much more room for our shoppers between the aisles and tables. This made all the products more visible and accessible. There was a mad dash for the Boxwood Tree table it sold out very quickly after the doors opened. Our new specialty items were very well received by the buying public who were looking for something unique and different. There was something for everyone whether it be a gift or something to decorate their home or table.

The staff was prepared for the large crowds - a larger box check area and simplified check out areas worked well!!! The sale started at 9:30 and ended just after 11:30 am.

Those who come each year know to join us early for the best selections since many are one of a kind. We are looking forward to next year and are already planning to have some new ideas and a number of new items to add to our wonderful sale. Please come back and see us then!
